  • KYC verification workflow with admin review
  • Seller agreement and commission acceptance
  • Store setup: logo, banner, return policy
  • Test listing before going live
  • Seller performance dashboard
📦

Parts Catalog Management

Sellers manage their own catalog with admin oversight and quality control.

  • Single and bulk listing upload (Excel/CSV)
  • OEM part number, cross-references, fitment data
  • Used parts: condition grade, donor VIN, photos
  • Admin catalog approval before going live
  • Price and stock update — instant or scheduled
  • Superseded/unavailable part flagging
🚗

VIN-Based Fitment Search

Buyers find the right part without guessing. VIN and year/make/model both supported.

  • VIN decode → vehicle → compatible parts
  • Year / Make / Model / Engine / Variant selector
  • Cross-seller search: best match across all sellers
  • Filter by new vs. used, price, brand, condition
  • Fitment confidence badge: exact fit / universal
  • Suggest alternatives when exact match unavailable

RFQ / Quotation Engine

Used parts often require negotiation. Multi-seller RFQ lets buyers compare offers.

  • Buyer submits RFQ with vehicle, part, condition requirements
  • Platform routes to relevant sellers automatically
  • Seller responds with price, photos, availability, warranty
  • Buyer compares all quotes side-by-side
  • Accept → PO → payment → fulfillment in one flow
  • RFQ history and repeat-order from accepted quote

Auto Parts Marketplace Development — FAQ
How long does it take to build an auto parts marketplace?
A single-seller parts platform can be ready in 10–12 weeks. A multi-vendor marketplace with seller onboarding, VIN fitment, RFQ, B2B dealer channel, and AI search typically takes 16–22 weeks depending on catalog complexity and the number of integrations. XPndAI follows a phased approach — launching with core buy/sell functionality and adding B2B and AI layers in subsequent phases, so you can go live with early sellers before the full feature set is complete.
How do sellers list used parts on the marketplace?
Sellers (typically salvage yards or dismantlers) list used parts through a dedicated seller portal. Each listing captures the donor vehicle VIN, make, model, mileage, and condition history, then the part's condition grade (A/B/C/reconditioned), photos/videos, warehouse bin location, and warranty terms. Bulk import is supported for yards with large inventories. The admin team reviews listings before they go live. Buyers can search for used parts by vehicle compatibility, condition grade, and price range alongside new parts.
Can the platform support both B2C consumers and B2B garages?
Yes. B2C buyers see retail prices, can purchase with standard payment methods, and follow a consumer checkout flow. B2B buyers (garages, fleet operators) register separately, get approved for a dealer account, and see tiered pricing lower than retail. B2B accounts can carry a credit limit — order now and pay by invoice within 30 or 60 days. They can upload a bulk parts list to create an order, rather than searching and adding one by one. Both channels are handled from the same catalog and inventory.
How does the RFQ process work for rare or used parts?
For parts where no listed stock exists (rare OEM parts, specific used components), buyers submit an RFQ — specifying the part, vehicle, condition requirement, and location preference. The platform routes the RFQ to qualified sellers who sell in that category. Each seller responds with their quote, photos, availability, and warranty. The buyer sees all quotes in a comparison view and accepts one, which triggers a purchase order. The full flow from RFQ to delivery is tracked in the platform.
Can the marketplace operate in both India and UAE?
Yes. XPndAI builds multi-country platforms with separate seller and buyer pools per region, or a combined marketplace with region-aware filtering. Currency handling covers INR and AED. Payment gateways are configured per region (Razorpay for India, PayTabs or Checkout.com for UAE). Tax handling differs — GST with HSN code invoices for India, VAT invoices for UAE. Vehicle fitment data and catalog structure may differ by market (RHD vs. LHD, local-market OEM variants). These are configured during the discovery phase.
